One study found that probiotic consumption reduced diarrhea by 42 percent after antibiotic use, and another study found that probiotics were significantly beneficial at alleviating symptoms in IBS patients.
Examples of probiotic foods include fermented foods like tempeh, sauerkraut or yogurt.
